Fitting Multivan 2 Swivel Seats and Rails
Hello Guys - I am new on here and can only speak English - Sorry!
I have bought this from Ebay.de and would like to fit it in my 2001 Caravelle which originally had 8 seats.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEAFB:IT
Can anyone show me how to fit it to my T4?
Thankyou for any help!

...have you ever noticed that some people never have the money to do it right, but can always find the money to do it twice?...
Re: Fitting Multivan 2 Swivel Seats and Rails
Great, buy something on a german site, ask on a dutch site how to install and only speak english
For a few tickets to the UK Berry, Rene and I will help you install the goods. I will come with them to do the translations from the seller (german) to Berry and Rene (Dutch) to you (English). Warning we all drink a lot of beer....

Just ignore them, their not skilled enough to do the job,and they all talk a load of cobless.
The way to do it,is to invite me and my family to your country, book a 5-star hotel for us near you,and show me what you want
done.
The Sea-ferry should be first-class of course, and you should send me about 1500euro in advance for food and drinks on the way there, and to get some toys and dvd's for the kids.
I know you apreciate good advice,so it would be wise to send me the money now,so I can make the reservations for the ferry.
Do you have your own insurance broker,to cover for a healtplan insurance for us,or should I ring mine?
I am shure he is a bit cheaper then yours.
So if you forward me your adres, then I shall send you all the forms and paperwork, and make the necessary
arangements for the trip.
Just remember this.
The minimum period to hire us,is 14 days.
All the work is done at your own risk, anything broken, lost,or whatever,is
not covered by us,but by yourself.
Every day we need money in advance, whit a minimum of 250 euro, per person, per day.
So don't hesitate, contact us,and we wil come over.
Looking forward to do business with you.
Regards,Henk250 and family.

Re: Fitting Multivan 2 Swivel Seats and Rails
Hey Guys - Thanks for the jokes
Also a big thankyou for the links with the more serious advice :klappen
I bought the seats from Germany because it was the only place I could source them with the floor/rails and everything complete - Plus the seller was willing to ship them to the UK.
We were not lucky enough to have the Multivan 2 in the UK so we have to buy a lot of our mods from accross the water.
I am on the UK T4 Forum but I remermber visiting your forum a couple of years back and could remember finding something on it back then about fitting Generation Seats. Maybe you have changed your forum sometime in the past 2 years because I could not find the link that I have saved.
Maybe we can share some beers when us guys from the UK come to one of your T4 meetings sometime...
Cheers Guys!

Re: Fitting Multivan 2 Swivel Seats and Rails
Hallo Robert
first of all you have to buy welding plates and weld them on the floor of your car.
this items you need:
7D0 883 281E drivers side left
7D0 883 281G drivers side right
7D0 883 282B passenger side left
7D0 883 282D passenger side right
I have found some items in the spare parts cd rom and here is also a screen picture
Those steel plates you need to fix the sliding bar on top of it.
In the sliding bar you can put in de chair.
Do you also have the wooden floor that goes on top of the sliding bars?
If you need more info, just ask me.
